"This piece stems from experiencing separation of colors behind closed eyes during altered states. One of the many instances that I've been able to capture and bring back. It also reminds me of how the old color TVs would behave where you could turn the tint knob while the TV wasn't receiving transmission very well and it would separate the colors in waves that would undulate across the screen."
The concept was conceived in 2015 and finished in 2021. The center of this piece was tattooed on a close friend and client.
